USA - Salinas Valley getting a taste for new Nunhems lettuce

The Bayer CropScience Vegetable Seeds Salad team took on the challenge of winning over new and current customers with an extensive look at a field full of new trends, concepts and bringing to life current portfolio.

Innovation in Salad was the overall take away for the customers visiting the lettuce trialing field in Salinas, CA. Customers were greeting by colleagues from the breeding team to produce chain in order to discuss concepts and start plans for strategic placement of Bayer CropScience varieties. This week long event was also a chance for the new image of the Nunhems brand to be on display.

“We have now given our customers options and solutions to their lettuce needs. Our future now looks brighter than our past .” Dawn Klawitter, Crop Sales Manager for Lettuce and Spinach.


Salad Crop Team.

Customers from every major lettuce label stepped foot on the field to view tailor-made concepts for their individual needs and initiatives. This was one of the major successes of the event due to the value brought to each customer through personalized research and planning prior to the event. The Salads team displayed a deeper focus on building cooperative relationships, crop specialization and differentiated Bayer CropScience through their attitude, processes and tools.
