Arysta LifeScience announces additions to U.S. sales team

Cary, North Carolina, USA
October 2, 2014

Arysta LifeScience recently announced the acquisition of Goëmar, a French company that develops bioperformance technologies for crop production.

Specifically, the BioSolutions segment of Goëmar is composed of biostimulants, value-added nutrients and biocontrol products. This acquisition adds four members to the United States Arysta LifeScience sales team: Goëmar National Sales Manager Ed Hensley and Territory Sales Managers Brian Cigainero, Brett Reeder and Kevin Esau.

Hensley helped develop the Goëmar business in North America, and he has 24 years experience. The three Goëmar territory sales managers will report to him.

Cigainero covers the Goëmar Southern Business Unit region/states. Previously, he worked as a crop insurance adjuster. Cigainero holds a bachelor of science in business management from the University of West Georgia and a master of agribusiness from Kansas State University.

Reeder serves the eastern U.S. for Goëmar. He has experience with West Coast Tomato as an operations manager and also worked in sales for Syngenta. Reeder graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor of science in food and resource economics.

Esau manages the western U.S. for Goëmar, where he has experience in chemical research, vegetable seeds and the manufacturing of specialized agricultural machinery. He earned his bachelor of science in agribusiness from California Polytechnic State University. Esau also holds a Pest Control Advisor license.

“This acquisition and integration of Goëmar provides Arysta LifeScience the opportunity to expand its product offerings to customers in this rapidly expanding segment while maximizing the synergies with traditional crop protection solutions,” said Jeff Tweedy, Head of United States Sales, Arysta LifeScience. “This Goëmar U.S. Sales Team allows our company to accelerate and advance innovations in bioperformance in agriculture to help create continued economic and environmental efficiencies.”
