PVP Course
Many countries are developing and implementing a legal framework for the protection of plant varieties. Naktuinbouw has developed the Plant Variety Protection course to underline the importance of Plant Breeders’ Rights in these countries.
This course is based on the UPOV principles. It focuses on the implementation of plant variety protection in countries where legislation is being developed, has recently been adopted, or in countries that are considering developing a system.
Not all countries have a legal framework in which plant varieties are protected under a system of intellectual property rights. This can lead to illegal exploitation.
More information about this course can be found in the brochure.
We are looking forward to see you in our PVP course!
