USDA/APHIS announces extension of a determination of nonregulated status of soybean genetically engineered for insect resistance

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) announced an extension of a determination of nonregulated status for a soybean variety developed by Monsanto Company, which has been genetically engineered (GE) for resistance to lepidopteran insects. The effective date of the determination is October 17, 2014.
