Detect Potato Virus X (PVX) in few minutes using rapid Flashkit test from Agdia

Evry, France
November 6, 2014

Agdia-Biofords (France), representing Agdia Inc (USA) in Europe Africa and Middle East, announced the release of a new Flashkit® (ImmunoStrip®) for detection of Potato virus X (PVX) in potato.

The PVX Flashkit (code: ISK10000) is an easy-to-use detection kit that can be performed anywhere, including the field, to test suspect plants for the pathogen.  It is specific to PVX and is not known to cross react with other pathogens in potato.

Conveniently, The PVX Flashkit may also be used simultaneously with the PVY Flashkit in the same sample extract.  This is especially useful for seed certification inspectors or growers who want to quickly identify either virus in a plant. Dual PVX and PVY infections are known to cause more severe disease symptoms and can cause increased yield loss.

ImmunoStrips® is a registered trademark of Agdia Inc.. ImmunoStrips®  are trademarked and marketed in EMEA under the name Flashkit®.
