Agrinos expands in the U.S.

Agrinos (Norwegian OTC: AGRI), a global leader in biological solutions for agricultural productivity and sustainability, announces that John Janczak today December 1st, 2014 takes on the role as Agrinos’ new Chief Financial Officer.

“As Agrinos grows and transitions from a global headquarters to a corporate hub business model, we are focused on bringing critical business functions to our U.S.-based office,” states D. Ry Wagner, Agrinos’ Chief Executive Officer, and adds “Janczak brings outstanding financial expertise and leadership to Agrinos at a critical time. He will lead finance, investor relations and corporate communications globally.” 

Most recently, Janczak was the CFO and President of Falcon Steel Company. He has also held key financial management positions at Cardinal Health, Inc., Sears Holdings, and MMD Holdings, Inc. Janczak has a degree in finance from Indiana University and a Masters in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University.

Norway-based Chief Financial Officer, Jørgen Andersen, Chief Legal Officer, Kristian Østberg, and Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, Harald Bjørland have completed their transition efforts and will departure the company by year end.

“I’d like to thank Jørgen, Kristian and Harald for their dedication and support over time, and for their roles in shaping and implementing the new strategy with concentrated management presence in the U.S. and leaner corporate functions. Their leadership has positioned us for the next chapter in our growth strategy,” added Wagner.

Leadership for EMEA and Asia sales and marketing will remain in Oslo, Norway, together with certain corporate resources. Agrinos AS will remain the parent company in the group, and its common stock will continue to be traded on the Norwegian OTC market.
