From 8th-11th December, Seed Industry Professionals from over 20 countries met at the Corn and Sorghum Seed Research Conference of the American Seed Trade Association in Chicago, to collaborate and network on new seed technologies.
Germains was amongst other major players in the industry who attended several of the ASTA committee meetings which focused on new technologies.
Dale Krolikowski, Head of Operations and Research at Germains North America commented on the success of the event;
“The ASTA Chicago event is so different than the Annual Vegetable & Flower ASTA event. It really opens my eyes to the opportunities Germains has to grow in different sectors with some of our customers who cross over between vegetables and field crops”
With over 3,000 attendees, the event provided an ideal chance to set up key account meetings and explore new opportunities. Germains are looking forward to follow up meetings to discuss how we can maximise the potential of seed in the field.
