The 2015 Capture® LFR® Corn Plant Stand Assurance Program by FMC Agricultural Solutions is designed to ensure growers have the opportunity to achieve a positive return when applying Capture LFR at-plant insecticide on Bt, seed-treated or conventional corn. Capture LFR is the market-leading in-furrow soil insecticide that offers the added convenience of unmatched liquid fertilizer compatibility, courtesy of the FMC-patented Liquid Fertilizer Ready® formulation technology.
“With rising seed costs, growers should protect their investment,” said Matt Hancock, FMC Agricultural Solutions North America corn segment manager. “If Capture LFR does not show an early season return on investment through an increased stand count of 600 plants per acre versus an untreated check, FMC will return a portion of the grower’s Capture LFR product cost proportionate to the difference between the 600 plant guarantee and their actual results, up to the full amount of the product.”
The Plant Stand Assurance Program helps to ensure a return on grower’s Capture LFR investment. Qualified program participants must apply Capture LFR at-plant insecticide for corn at a minimum rate of 3.4 oz/acre and leave a check strip in each field for one round.
Capture LFR insecticide can reduce insect injury, lower potential disease entry sites and improve overall plant health for maximum yield potential. Corn rootworm resistance and insect pressure continue to grow and seedling pests like wireworms, cutworms and grubs not controlled by genetics are quickly becoming the primary problems of reduced stands.
