Last week from the 7-9th January, Germains Seed Technology attended the largest conference and trade show for the potato industry in North America, Potato Expo.

The event was held in Florida and was attended by Germains’ North American Account Manager, Bobby Garcia. With the aim of understanding customer needs and value drivers within the market, Bobby networked amongst 2,000 visitors at the event including key decision makers and international industry leaders.

Germains North American Horticulture Sales and Marketing Manager, Neil Myers comments on the importance of Potato Expo within the industry:

“The fact that the event has quickly grown from 16 exhibitors to 160 in just five years, is a testament to its value within the industry.”

Gaining knowledge of potential customer’s value drivers has provided useful insight into Germains’ long term strategy, as a result of attending Potato expo.
