Friday February 6th from 9.15 a.m. onwards Bejo is organizing an organic breakfast with the theme “start with organic”. During this tasty start of the day, Bejo is set to present new varieties in its organic range.
In Berlin, Bejo presents its range of organic vegetable seeds under the trade name ‘Start with organic’. The range contains some new varieties specifically developed for organic growers, such as Covina, a fast-growing broccoli variety that is eminently suitable for both summer and autumn crops. Furthermore, the organic range has been extended with a few names that already had a reputation in the conventional segment, such as the carrot varieties Naval and Cupar, and the leek variety Surfer.
Bejo continues to work on expanding its range of high-quality organic seeds, making it easier for the growers to use organic seeds. The company applies breeding methods that are appropriate to the organic chain.
Bejo is the market leader in organic vegetable seeds for field vegetables. The range is still growing, meanwhile consisting of 140 varieties of over 40 crops.

Biologisch ontbijt voor de keten op Fruit Logistica
Op vrijdag 6 februari vanaf 09.15 u organiseert Bejo een biologisch ontbijt met als thema ’start with organic’. Tijdens dit smakelijk begin van de dag zal Bejo nieuwe rassen in haar biologische assortiment presenteren.
Bejo presenteert in Berlijn zijn assortiment biologische groentezaden onder de naam ‘Start with organic’. Het aanbod omvat weer enkele nieuwe, speciaal voor de biologische teelt ontwikkelde rassen, zoals Covina, een groeikrachtig broccoli ras dat zich uitstekend leent voor de zomer- en herfstteelt. Verder is het bio-assortiment uitgebreid met namen die al bekend waren in het conventionele segment, zoals de wortelrassen Naval en Cupar en het prei ras Surfer.
Bejo blijft werken aan de uitbreiding van haar biologisch assortiment kwaliteitszaden, zodat het voor de telers steeds gemakkelijker wordt om biologisch zaad te gebruiken. Daarbij worden veredelingstechnieken gehanteerd die passen in de biologische keten.
Bejo is marktleider in biologische groentezaden voor de vollegrondsgroenteteelt. Het aanbod groeit nog steeds en bestaat inmiddels uit 140 rassen in meer dan 40 gewassen.
