dataTHRESH independent SEEDSEARCH™ Basic Data Tool
The dataTHRESH independent SEEDSEARCH™ Basic Data Tool offers farmers a fast way to find seed products easier and faster. With the tool, farmers select which maturity range of corn hybrid or soybean variety they are seeking. The multi-brand results can be further sorted by specific brands. The dataTHRESH farmer community of independent-minded, profit-focused, and tech-savvy next generation farmers can add additional products to the list. This convenient tool saves farmers time, and allows them to search and identify products from multiple brands for the desired maturity.
dataTHRESH independent SEEDLIST™ Basic Data Tool
The dataTHRESH independent SEEDLIST™ Data Tool helps farmers collect and organize the corn hybrids and soybean varieties that they have on their radar screen for possible selection for the following year. This tool takes the typical process farmers go through every year as they keep a list of promising hybrids or varieties to plant, and advances it with technology to make the information convenient to use since it is accessible via phone, tablet, or computer.
dataTHRESH independent RATINGS™ PRO Data Tool
Also being announced is the PRO version of dataTHRESH independent RATINGS. The PRO version gives farmers the ability to view anonymous ratings of other farmers. As with the Basic version of the tool, farmers rate their corn and soybeans throughout the growing season on key performance characteristics. This unbiased farmer data enhances and de-risks the seed selection process for farmers, to help support their growing profitability.
dataTHRESH CROPPLAN™ Basic Data Tool
The dataTHRESH CROPPLAN™ Basic Data Tool gives farmers a FREE simple tool to map their Farms, Fields, and Management Zones.
These products are now in beta. dataTHRESH is actively expanding its select group of leading corn and soybean farmer beta testers.
The Basic tools are FREE to farmers. PRO versions and additional data tools continue to advance through the development stages.
"On my farm, seed selection is the most important decision I make every year. The problem is that it is getting more difficult to get unbiased multi-brand seed comparison data on a local, regional, and national basis--especially by the time I need it to select my seed for the upcoming year. That's why our first tools are focused on independent seed selection," Mike Coon, 6th generation Iowa farmer and founder of dataTHRESH.
Farmers are facing seed decisions earlier every year, says Coon, as seed companies offer discounts earlier every year, sometimes even before yield and other data from the current growing season are available.
Famers may also choose to be active in the FREE Farmer Community Forum for farmer data topics. The Farmer Community Forum is a place online where farmers can ask, discuss, and learn about data topics from other progressive farmers and invited experts.
