Tuesday, 28th april 2015, 5 pm Central European Summer Time (Berlin time): Webinar „Hybrid breeding in wheat – heterosis, pollination capability and best breeding methods“ with Dr. Friedrich Longin

Hybrid breeding in wheat is currently intensively debated in the breeding community. The aim of this webinar is to deliver latest results on heterosis in wheat, yield stability of hybrids, and methods and results for selecting on good father lines. Furthermore, different breeding methods and their optimum allocation of test resources for a maximizing gain from selection in hybrid wheat are proposed. The target group are wheat breeders and researchers.
