This year the AFSTA (African Seeds Trading Association) Congress was held at the Elephant Hill Hotel in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe over the first week of March, 2015.
More than 320 delegates from 49 countries, both from Africa and from all corners of the globe, participated in the congress.
Among the participants were leading international as well as African seed companies. In addition, the congress also hosted sessions with lectures by representatives of ISTA – International Seed Testing Association, UPOV – Union for
the Protection of New Varieties of Plants, the OECD – Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development.
Hazera participated as an exhibitor with an impressive booth presenting our products which are especially suitable for the African market. Our team included Mr. Yehuda Olshansky, Head of Marketing and Business Development, Mr. Jawadat Badawieh, Commercial Business Unit Manager for the Middle East & Africa, and Mrs. Sarry Gonen, International Customer Service Specialist.
Our booth attracted great interest and many visitors inquired about our company and our products. This was an excellent opportunity to further strengthen our relations and network with the African growers, customers & NGOs and to further learn about the markets and new trends.
