JanWillem Breukink has decided to retire from his position on INCOTEC’s Board of Directors, effective April 1st 2015. This was announced today by Bart J. Constandse, Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
This decision is in accordance with the transition process which the company initiated in 2014 with the appointment of Douwe Zijp to succeed Mr. Breukink in his role as CEO.
Mr. Breukink has accepted a position on INCOTEC’s Advisory Board providing advice and consultation on strategic, technical and market-oriented issues.
“JanWillem has been invaluable to the establishment and success of INCOTEC and an inspiring leader to many in the seed technology sector. Through his new advisory position and his various roles within Seed Valley, ESA and the ISF, we are fortunate that the organization will still benefit from JanWillem’s extensive knowledge and experience”, says Mr. Constandse.
JanWillem Breukink commented: “After stepping down as CEO a year ago the time has now come to make this decision. The developments within the company are positive and I can take this step with confidence.”
JanWillem Breukink treedt terug uit Directie INCOTEC
Per 1 april 2015 legt JanWillem Breukink zijn functie als Directielid neer. Dit werd vandaag bekend gemaakt door Bart J. Constandse, Voorzitter van de Raad van Commissarissen.
Dit besluit is in lijn met het transitieproces, ingezet in 2014 met de benoeming van Douwe Zijp tot CEO van INCOTEC Group als opvolger van JanWillem Breukink.
Dhr. Breukink treedt toe tot de Raad van Advies van INCOTEC, om de onderneming te kunnen blijven adviseren op strategisch, technisch en marktgerelateerd gebied.
“JanWillem is van onschatbare waarde geweest voor de grondlegging en het succes van INCOTEC en een inspirerend leider voor velen in de zaadtechnologiesector. Via zijn nieuwe adviserende rol en zijn
verschillende functies binnen SeedValley, ESA en het ISF, blijft INOCTEC gelukkig profiteren van zijn aanzienlijke kennis en ervaring”, zegt Dhr. Constandse.
JanWillem Breukink reageert: “Na het terugtreden als CEO een jaar geleden, is de tijd rijp voor deze stap. De ontwikkelingen in het bedrijf zijn positief zodat ik deze beslissing met vertrouwen kan nemen.”
