Ger Beemsterboer, board member and co-founder of Bejo, is appointed “Ridder in de Orde van Oranje-Nassau” (translated as Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau, a military and civil Dutch order of chivalry. These are people who deserve appreciation and recognition from society for the special way in which they have carried out their activities).
This took place on Friday, March 20th, the same day as his official farewell reception. This royal honor was presented to him by Mayor Marjan van Kampen. Partly thanks to his hard work and vision Bejo has grown to what it is today. But also for his support to various social projects in Warmenhuizen and various international communities he has received this symbolic recognition. Ger remains involved in Bejo as shareholder.
