The 2015 China Vegetable Industry Conference opened in Gaocheng District of Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province on May 15th, 2015. Sun Zhonghua, MOA Chief Agronomist attended and addressed the Conference.

The theme of the Conference was “Innovation shapes future” and there were four sessions including vegetable seedlings, integration of water and fertilizer, green approaches of prevention and control, and mechanization. The Conference was aimed at promoting the transformation of development modes of vegetable industry, application of advanced and appropriate new technologies and vegetable production in a standard way.

More than 800 representatives of vegetable production, processing, and scientific research sectors attended the meeting.
