The aim of seed storage is to slow down the aging process of the seeds. Seeds must be dried carefully and then stored under the appropriate conditions in order to give them the best chances of germination and production of healthy plants after they are planted. Both temperature and humidity determine the length of time the seeds can be stored. Fortunately, Seed Processing Holland meets the needs of the seeds by offering the seed storage cabinet, type 5030.15.00.
The seed storage cabinet, type 5030.15.00 enables you to store seeds at the desired temperature and air humidity. It is highly applicable for storage of valuable commercial seed lots, stock seeds and or breeding material. The conditions of the cabinet (temperature and air humidity) are pre-set on the touch screen control of the seed storage cabinet. The cabinet has two doors, which can be locked. A maximum of 50 stainless steel racks can be placed. Standard, the cabinet includes 6 racks.
The seed storage cabinet has the following capacities:
Temperature range adjustable between 5° and 20°C.
Relative humidity range adjustable between minimum 30% and maximum 60 %.
The seed storage cabinet reduces air humidity automatically. The extracted moisture is automatically evaporated outside the seed storage cabinet.
The seed storage cabinet type 5030.15.00 has a capacity of 1200 litres (317 gallon). For smaller storage we offer seed storage cabinet type 5030.05.00, which has a capacity of 600 litres (158 gallon).
