Scientific American Worldview 2015 presents 100 Most Influential People in Biotech

Scientific American released its 7th annual issue of Worldview: A Global Biotechnology Perspective during the BIO International Convention on June 18, 2015 in Pennsylvania. Worldview features the 100 most influential people in the field of biotechnology based on a survey of biotechnology and biosciences leaders who nominated living experts currently working in the sector from a range of contributing areas, including industry, academia, public policy, finance, law, and beyond.

Among the Worldview 100 are Bill and Melinda Gates of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation; Clive James, Founder and Emeritus Chair of ISAAA; Naglaa Abdallah of Cairo University and Egypt Biotechnology Information Center; Mahaletchumy Arujanan of the Malaysian Biotechnology Information Center; Nina Fedoroff of Pennsylvania State University; Pamela Ronald of University of California, Davis; and Judy Wang of DuPont.

Worldview also presented a scorecard, which shows data and analysis of the innovation potential in biotechnology of 54 countries.
