Rijk Zwaan has developed an app to improve the efficiency and personalisation of visits to its demo fields around the world. The RZ Demo Partner app enables visitors to look up details about the varieties, add their own photos and comments and access all the information again at any time after attending the demo. The app is now available for download in Android and iOS versions.
“We organise various large-scale demo events throughout the year around the world, such as the Open Field Demo in Fijnaart, the Tomato Demo in Kwintsheul and the International Winter Open Field Days in Cartagena, Spain,” says Dennis van der Kaaij from Marketing & Business Development at Rijk Zwaan. “Using the app, a visitor can access a lot of information beforehand about which varieties are on display and whereabouts they are in the demo field. During the visit, people can scan the QR code of any variety they are interested in, which takes them directly to an online information page about that particular variety. They can also add their own comments to that information and mark interesting varieties as their ‘favourites’. This app enables us to transform a demo visit into a personalised experience. Each visitor decides for themselves which information they want to save so that they can refer to it again at their own convenience afterwards.”

App verrijkt bezoek aan demoveld
Rijk Zwaan heeft een app ontwikkeld om het bezoek aan haar demovelden wereldwijd efficiënter en persoonlijker te maken. Met de RZ Demo Partner app kan de bezoeker rasinformatie opzoeken, eigen foto’s en opmerkingen toevoegen én de opgeslagen informatie na de demo weer gemakkelijk terugvinden. Vanaf nu is de app beschikbaar voor Android en iOS.
“Elk jaar organiseren wij over de hele wereld grote demo-evenementen, zoals de vollegrondsdemo in Fijnaart, de tomatendemo in Kwintsheul en de International winter open field days in Cartagena (Spanje)”, aldus Dennis van der Kaaij van Marketing & Business Development. “Via de app kan een bezoeker vooraf al informatie inwinnen over de aanwezige rassen én waar de rassen op het demoveld te vinden zijn. Tijdens het bezoek kom je door het scannen van een QR-code op de informatiepagina van het ras waarin je geïnteresseerd bent. Je kunt de informatie zelf verrijken en rassen markeren als favoriet. Zo zorgen we ervoor dat het bezoek aan de demo een persoonlijke ervaring wordt. De bezoeker kan zelf bepalen welke informatie hij wil bewaren en thuis nog eens rustig wil doorlezen.”
“Een groot voordeel is dat je de app ook offline kunt gebruiken. Zo kunnen we garanderen dat de informatie over onze rassen altijd en overal in te zien is. We verwachten dan ook dat Demo Partner de service naar onze partners verder kan verbeteren."

Rijk Zwaan ha sviluppato un'applicazione per migliorare l'efficienza e la personalizzazione delle visite ai propri campi dimostrativi di tutto il mondo. L'applicazione RZ Demo Partner consente ai visitatori di cercare informazioni sulle varietà, aggiungere foto e commenti e accedere a tutte le informazioni in qualsiasi momento dopo aver visitato la demo. L'applicazione è ora disponibile per il download in versione Android e iOS.
