USA - Bayer provides canola updates at KMOT Ag Expo in Minot, North Dakota - Educational sessions for both seasoned and new canola farmers

Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, USA
January 19, 2016

The latest trial results, benefits observed with various harvesting approaches and regional pest updates will all be discussed at this year’s Canola Grow More sessions hosted by Bayer InVigor® representatives. Farmers can attend the free sessions while attending the KMOT Ag Expo in Minot, N.D.

Each 30-minute session will provide the same information and will be hosted in the meeting room behind the Bayer booth #30 in the Titan Machinery Hall. The schedule is:

  • 1:30 and  3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27
  • 1:30 and  3:00 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28

At the Canola Grow More sessions, farmers will receive information on InVigor’s L140P – the industry’s only canola hybrid with the pod shatter tolerance trait, best canola harvest management practices, flea beetles, 2015 trial results, the 2016 hybrid lineup and current programs.

“We believe canola is a profitable and important rotation crop for farmers across North Dakota, Montana and Minnesota,” says Kristie Sundeen, InVigor North Central sales lead for Bayer. “The Grow More sessions at the KMOT Ag Expo aim to equip farmers with the latest agronomic and crop management knowledge, so they can take full advantage of the high-yielding canola genetics they plant.”

In addition to attending the educational sessions, farmers can enter the Grow More Canola Giveaway at Bayer booth #30 in Titan Machinery Hall to win InVigor seed.
