EnviroLogix announces more versatility in its QuickComb for soybeans

Portland, Maine, USA
May 3, 2010

EnviroLogix Inc. has expanded its QuickComb offerings to include a more sensitive visual test for bulk soybean testing.

“Because so many customers who do not require quantification have asked for a sensitive detection method for both GMO traits in soybeans, we developed a specific visual-only QuickComb for their rapid screening needs,” said Simon Varney, Product Manager.

Like the quantitative QuickComb for QuickScan™, this QuickComb Kit is made up of two individual test strips – one for Roundup Ready® and one for LiberyLink® beans. The test takes advantage of EnviroLogix’ tap water Common Extraction™, simultaneously detecting both events within five minutes. The strips are also available in their respective individual QuickStix™ Kits.

“This type of nimble response to customer requests is what has made us the worldwide leader in GMO grain test kits,” continued Varney. “Our customers’ requirements evolve every day, and we are committed to helping them meet their needs.”

QuickComb Kit for Soybeans (AS 076 TCK) and QuickComb Kit for QuickScan – Soybeans (AQ 076 TCK) are offered 100 tests per kit, or in bulk packaging.
