NTU Ranking 2016: Wageningen wederom beste landbouwuniversiteit ter wereld
Wageningen University is opnieuw de beste universiteit ter wereld op landbouwgebied. Op de National Taiwan University Ranking 2016 staat Wageningen University op dat gebied voor het vierde jaar op rij bovenaan. Op plaats twee en drie staan UC Davis en Cornell University.
De NTU Ranking laat de jaarlijkse prestaties van ’s werelds beste universiteiten zien op basis van de output en impact van hun wetenschappelijke publicaties, de h-index. De ranglijst toont daarmee de voortuitgang in het onderzoek van universiteiten. Naast een overall ranglijst worden op zes wetenschappelijke terreinen ranglijsten opgemaakt.
Naast de eerste plaats op het gebied van landbouw, is Wageningen University de beste in de subcategorie landbouwwetenschappen, tweede bij plant- en dierenwetenschappen, en tweede op het gebied van omgevingswetenschappen en ecologie. Overall stijgt Wageningen naar plaats 146.
