Arturo Redes, Craig Brekkas named to new roles at Arysta LifeScience - Redes assumes Head of Marketing for North America Brekkas to serve as Country Head for Canada

Arysta LifeScience North America recently announced Arturo Redes as the new Head of Marketing for its North America Business Unit. Redes replaces Craig Brekkas, who has moved into the role of Country Head for Canada.

Redes (left) joined Arysta LifeScience in 2012 and served as the company’s Global Marketing Manager for fungicides and insecticides his prior role is highlighted by a special focus on the global expansion of fluoxastrobin as well as global work specifically with insecticides and acaricides. Previously, Redes worked at Chemtura Corporation as vice president for the North American Crop Protection Division.

Additionally, Craig Brekkas (right) has assumed the position of Country Head for Canada. In this new role, he will focus on overall business strategies and customer needs in Canada for Arysta LifeScience while continuing to help the Canadian sales staff expand its business footprint throughout the country. Brekkas, who held various management roles after joining Arysta LifeScience Canada in 2004, also previously served as the company’s National Account Manager in the United States. His relationships and knowledge of the Canadian marketplace align with Arysta LifeScience goals to continue to drive business forward in the future.

“Arturo brings a wealth of experience and industry know-how to this important position, and Craig is ideal to take the reins in a leadership position in his home country of Canada,” said Rico Christensen, Business Unit Head, Arysta LifeScience. “Their collective success in creating new growth opportunities as ag-chem leaders is something we anticipate both of them continuing in their current positions, which will further the breadth and depth of the Arysta LifeScience portfolio of crop protection products throughout North America.”
