its tomato breeding activity in 1990. The founder,
Dr. Remo
Ludergnani, is a former
Vice President, International Division, of Petoseed and later Senior Vice
President, Sales & Marketing, of Sunseeds.At
the beginning, the emphasis was in pear shaped tomatoes for the European market to meet
the requirements of the Italian peelers. Later, the genetics allowed us to work on square
rounds for the worldwide tomato paste markets.
In our work, we have combined European and American genetics,
while at the same time creating adaptability to California growing conditions and
the highest possible quality for dicing, paste and wholepeel processing.
