- Match:
- All, Any, or Boolean. This determines the relationship between your keywords when the search is performed. Boolean expressions need to be 'correct' in order for the search system to use them.
- Examples of correct expressions are:
- rice and corn,
grains not wheat,
rice or (corn not hybrid).
Note that the operator not has the meaning of 'without'.
- Format:
- Long or Short. Both return the same list of results, but Long includes a section of text from each page.
- Sort by:
This can be one of Score, Time, Title, Reverse Score, Reverse Time, or Reverse Title. It determines what type of sort will be performed on the search results. The type Time sorts on the time that the documents were last modified. The sort methods that begin with Reverse simply reverse the order of the sort.
