Retailer uses on demand address verification to improve efficiency and customer service
Experian(R) QAS(R), a part of Experian Marketing Services and a leading provider of address verification software and services, today announced that Johnny's Selected Seeds implemented QAS Pro On Demand to validate mailing address information entered on its ecommerce site. The retailer expects the software to improve organizational efficiency, reduce returned packages and catalogs, and enhance overall customer service.
"We have used Experian QAS products for a number of years, but didn't have address verification on our expanding ecommerce site," said Tonia Harris, contact center manager at Johnny's Selected Seeds. "Currently, each time an international order is placed online, we manually call the customer to validate the address and ensure they will receive their package. We anticipate that by automating this process with Experian QAS address verification, we will be able to improve our staff efficiency."
QAS Pro On Demand will be used during online checkout, address changes and catalog requests to validate U.S. and Canadian addresses.
