New USDA Plant Variety Protection Office procedures for notifying the public when certificates of protection are issued

The Plant Variety Protection Office (PVPO) has changed its procedures for notifying the public when certificates of protection are issued. You may obtain the list of new of certificates of protection from our website (http://www.ams.usda.gov/PVPO).

Follow the instructions below:

  • Scroll down to PVPO News section.
  • Open the link "In the News"
  • Click on the bullet “PVPO Issues New Certificates of Protection

To view the scanned certificate in its entirety:

  • Click on the Public Access Databases from the PVPO Information section http://www.ams.usda.gov/PVPO
  • Under the subtitle “PVPO - Scanned Certificates Database”, click on “Scanned Certificates” in the body of the description.

The PVPO has created this Listserv to inform our subscribers when updates or important program announcements are posted to the website. You can login to modify your email profile or unsubscribe at http://info.ams.usda.gov/PVPO/login.php.
