Tablets are becoming more prominent and almost revolutionizing the IT world. With the advent of more rugged tablets, more and more plant breeders and field researchers are using tablets as a data entry tool.

In response to our clients globally, we have developed a new application for Windows ® tablets.

Now, our users can download from their central server with an AGROBASE SQL-Server database any number of experiments or nurseries with a few clicks over a secure internet connection onto a Windows tablet with an installation of AGROBASE Tablet.

One can then go to the field or greenhouse and enter data in either a spreadsheet-like or “plot view” with instant data validation and other features.

When done, and back within internet or Wi-Fi range, only a few clicks are required to instantly upload the data to the central server.

The user can be thousands of miles away – it only requires a reliable internet connection. This is a very efficient means of data collection, designed to save time for plant breeders and agronomists.

Our beta testers in the US, Canada, UK, and Europe have been very positive with their experience of AGROBASE Tablet™.
