“Elgar’s results are very impressive when compared to current market leading varieties,” says Elsoms OSR Breeder, Mark Nightingale. “Farmers are always concerned as to how trial results will translate into field performance,“ commented Mark, “so Elgar’s excellent straw characteristics should prove to be very attractive,” he added. “Although currently only in RL Trials we will have a significant quantity of seed available for 2015 sowing,” concluded Mark.
