United Kingdom - Independent studies have confirmed that wheat and barley crops treated with Adexar fungicide from BASF generate additional yield

Our latest Adexar® fungicide video is now available, presented by Julie Smith of ADAS UK Ltd. Julie discusses the additional benefits that Adexar provides in addition to its recognisable fungicide properties for wheat and barley crops.

Whenever you see the Agcelence® label on a BASF Crop Protection product, you can be assured that there are potentially additional benefits to the grower, such as: better stress tolerance, increased production efficiency or higher yields etc.

In the video, Julie demonstrates how in HGCA and ADAS performance trials Adexar delivers disease and yield benefits. She explains how the increased size and duration of the green canopy area will produce higher yield and that Adexar is particularly effective at achieving this. The yield actually increased by a staggering 6kg per unit of green canopy area in an ADAS performance trial when Adexar cereal fungicide was applied.* Observations from the trial included, increased “in-leaf” greenness, reduced cell damage, a reduction in general non target pathogens, and improved water use efficiency.

Improved water use efficiency means that more grain is produced per unit of water consumed in your wheat or barley crops. With increased drought issues particularly in the East of the United Kingdom and sustainable farming methods high on the agenda, it makes sense to explore the additional properties of Adexar as a cereal crop fungicide.
