View discussions on fungicide best practices from AgCelence Academy panel at agsolutions.ca/agcelenceacademy

As farmers embark on another growing season, it won’t be long until challenges surrounding disease pressure arise. To help educate growers on crop production and best practices, BASF has posted recent episodes from a series of online events called AgCelence® Academy.

Growers on the panel, from across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, discussed why they use fungicides on their farm, offered advice, and shared their personal experiences in hopes of educating other growers on successes in their region.

AgCelence Academy was a great opportunity to share our experiences and learn more about what other farmers in Western Canada are doing on their farm, after all, it’s not every day that I get to talk about my farm with someone in Alberta,” said Dan Ronceray of Somerset, Manitoba. “I found the online discussions to be very valuable and I was thrilled to be a part of it.”

During the four live sessions, AgCelence Academy looked at a number of fungicide best practices in pulse, cereal and canola crops. Each archived episode features a video that describes the science behind BASF fungicides and includes technical advice from a BASF Technical Marketing Specialist.
