Seed Processing Holland BV presents - Customer testimonial: HM Clause

Customer testimonial: HM Clause

Last year, we proudly executed a project for HM Clause Chile S.A. and we are delighted they want to share their experiences about us.

HM Clause Chile S.A. is a seed company that produces many different varieties of vegetable seeds. The company is located in San Francisco de Mostazal – Chile.

The initial contact with Semillas Limagrain de Chile (currently HM Clause Chile S.A., a subsidiary of Groupe Limagrain) took place in 2004. In 2010, this led to the delivery of a seed thresher, type 3032.00.00 (Ø 482 x 600 mm).

Over the past few years, Paul Koomen has been welcomed kindly by HM Clause Chile S.A. During these meetings the company’s desires where discussed as well as their need regarding threshing, extraction, drying and cleaning of seeds.

Eventually, this led to the delivery of our Seed belt grader, SBG-100, which has been used very satisfactory, especially for different types of cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli and, turnip seeds, etc.

The SBG-100 is the Seed belt grader executed with one belt, an inlet hopper and a vibratory feeder by which the seeds are dosed on the left upper side of the belt. The belt is mounted horizontally and rotates from the left to the right. The good seeds roll down immediately and the less round shaped seeds, double seeds, weeds, sticks and or debris are left on the belt and are discharged at the side.

The vibratory feeder and belt are adjustable in speed. The belts are pivotally mounted in a sub frame and therefore they are adjustable between 10° en 25°. Mr. Cristian Jaque Gebrie, crop supervisor at HM Clause Chile, states that he deliberately chose to provide the machine with the electrical inclination of belt adjustment. This inclination adjustment enables the angle by which the seeds roll on (off) the belt to be adjusted fast and easy during processing. This leads to the appropriate separation of seeds.

Furthermore, the machine is equipped with a special outlet with which 5 fractions can be separated. The seeds can be collected in, for example, containers or bags with bag clamps.

Since the belt of the machine is quickly interchangeable, a smooth belt as well as a rougher belt can be used. Therefore, many different seed crop types can be processed.

HM Clause Chile S.A. states to be satisfied with SPH’s knowledge and follow up as well as the quality, effectiveness and durability of the machine.

HM Clause Chile S.A. indicates that the company will appeal to SPH’s service and knowledge again when new developments arise in the future.
