Best threshing performance combined with maximum user friendliness - Seed Processing Holland offers seed thresher, type 3050.00.00

Enkhuizen, The Netherlands
August 3, 2015

Seed Processing Holland offers a wide range of threshing equipment. We would like to draw attention to our seed thresher, type 3050.00.00. This threshing system is suitable for threshing relatively large batches of umbels, umbel lifers or pods and can be used for e.g. production of stock seeds.

The plant material is manually dosed into the machine after which it is broken into smaller pieces by means of 3 rubber rotating beaters. The rpm of the rotor is variable. The advantage of a variable speed is that for each seed variety the right speed can be set, through which a damage free threshing process is obtained.

The seed thresher can optionally be executed with a hackle. This makes the seed thresher suitable for a wider product range. With this feature hard seed crops like artichoke or sunflower seed heads can be threshed.
With an exchangeable threshing basket and correct basket perforation the optimum threshing result is obtained by threshing the seeds through the perforation and larger chaffs leave the machine as waste.

Air separation

After threshing the seeds arrive in an air separation section, where a separation is made between heavy and light seeds. The air separation is adjustable (the air separation unit needs to be connected with Dust suction unit, type 3050.00.20.1) and can be seen through a polycarbonate window. Optionally, the machine can be made transportable, so it can be moved around easily in the processing area.

The Seed pod dosing elevator, type 1988.00.00 can be connected to the seed thresher for transporting and dosing of flower heads (provided that the heads are easily transportable, e.g. onions and leek) in order to automate the flow of the process.
Waste discharge elevator, type 1987.00.00, can be connected for the chaff. The elevator is linked to the waste outlet of our seed thresher. Plant parts and sticks that are separated during the threshing process will leave the machine through this outlet. The waste is conveyed to a higher level by the elevator. The material is dosed at the highest point and can be collected in a container or box.

By connecting Seed belt elevator, type 1573.10.00, the “good” threshed seeds that leave the outlet can be transported to a higher level, so they can be collected in, for example, a container.

The seed thresher, type 3050.00.00, has a capacity of 6-8 m³ plants per hour.
