Priming typically speeds field emergence by two
to three days. In cold, wet conditions, this gain can be
amplified to as much as seven days.
The speeding response is a valuable tool to
growers, particularly where they have regular problems
achieving good crop establishment, such as with risks
associated with early planting under cold, wet or fast drying
soil conditions after planting, and where there are risks of
soil capping or crusting after planting. |
