Application
These highly efficient polymers
have very simple application rates and are easy to utilize in most treating
situations.
General Mixing Instructions*
1. Mix uniformly all other ingredients in tank.
2. Add polymer liquid last to batch.
3. Mix approximately 10 minutes or until visually uniform.
4. You're ready to treat seeds.
*A jar test for compatibility and order of addition is strongly recommended, especially
for batches with high ingredient concentrations.
Seed safety
These polymer products have not caused phytotoxicological concerns on any tested crops under either
laboratory or commercial conditions at the above usage rates. The more common of these
crops include corn, soybeans, cotton, sunflower, vegetables, alfalfa, grass, peas, and
edible beans.
Additionally, Becker Underwood polymers are exempt from a tolerance under the United States
Environmental Protection Agency regulation 40CFR180.1001 (c) and
(d).
Customization
Becker Underwood's staff of chemists can perform chemical compatibility work with all of
your treatment packages. We can provide customized mixing instructions to meet your needs
based on batch sizes, treating equipment, and handling systems. If you prefer a seed
polymer with a shiny appearance, we recommend CF-Neutral or other custom color
products. If you prefer a polymer with color and shine, we also have the products that
will work best for you. If there are any questions or concerns, please feel free to
contact us any time. |
Support
Becker Underwood products can be used with systems ranging from spray mist, dip-cup, or
rotating disk seed treaters plus auger flighting or hex polishing drums followed by
elbows, legs, or ladders and leading to bulk bins or bagging lines. Utilizing our in-house
laboratory side-vented pan seed treater, we can optimize your treatment needs. If
requested, our laboratory can provide filter papers with quantitative results showing the
amount of dust controlled with various rates of polymer in your treatment package.
We take the guess work out of dust off !

Quality
All Becker Underwood seed polymer products are manufactured at
Becker Underwood. Each lot number is retained by Becker Underwood and periodically checked
for shelf stability. Each lot number is evaluated for chemical properties utilizing the
following analytical equipment: Brookfield viscometer, gravimetric cup, pH meter, and
drawdown bar apparatus.
Application quality for each lot number is evaluated utilizing a Hege 11 seed treater.
Becker Underwood is ISO 9001 registered in manufacturing of our products.
