Increased seed protection
Becker Underwood’s polymers, CF-Clear™ and Secure™, will help bind the color and seed treatment onto the seed. Many seed companies invest in adding seed treatments to their seed in order to offer producers more seed protection. Very small amounts of Becker Underwood's CF-Clear™ and Secure™ can be used to significantly reduce dust-off. We have capabilities in our lab to collect dust and calculate the percent of dust-off.

Increased worker safety
With the use of a seed polymer in a treatment slurry, the health and well being of seed production workers dumping seed in the planter is protected by keeping the treatment on the seed.

Increase seed size or weight
Polymers can be used to increase seed size or make shape more uniform for planting. With polymers like 74A, CF-Clear™ and Secure™, these build-ups can be achieved.

Quality product
When a farmer pours a bag of seed into the planter, he obviously wants a quality product. Color coverage and seed appearance is an instrumental link in portraying a quality product.
