Incotec has exclusive arrangements with BioWorks, Inc. in the USA, who have developed
a special Trichoderma strain suitable for seed treatment. For optimal application and
growth stimulating effect of Trichoderma, Incotec has developed DISCO
CARE film coat formulation. DISCO CARE is available as a powder, which
includes the Trichoderma. By adding water to DISCO CARE it becomes a liquid with excellent
sticking ability.The DISCO CARE film coat formulation is available for DISCO CLEAR,
DISCO COLOR, DISCO METAL, DISCO SHINE and DISCO AGRO.
Microorganisms like certain Trichoderma and Gliocladium strains can be very sensitive
to the film coat polymers and fungicides. Incotec is therefore testing each Microorganism
for compatibility with fungicides.
Besides the close co-operation with BioWorks, Inc., Incotec has contacts with many
suppliers of Microorganisms. By intense screening and testing of the various
Microorganisms we will be able to select the best Microorganism for each seed species.
