On January 11th, 2002, the management of INCOTEC and the venture capital firm NeSBIC bought INCOTEC from SEMINIS VEGETABLE SEEDS.

This was an important moment for INCOTEC as it got a completely independent position within the seed industry serving the seed industry worldwide. The history of INCOTEC goes back to the sixties where it in 1968 started as the coating Department of the Dutch based company ROYAL SLUIS in the Netherlands. At the same time the USA based company ASGROW started a similar coating Department in California.

Both activities in all these years showed strong growth. After the merger between Asgrow, Royal Sluis and Peto (SEMINIS) in 1996 these two activities merged together under the new INCOTEC as the world market leader in seed and coating technology. >>>
