Melon - Caribbean Queen F1
Cantaloupe Charentais

The hardiness of this variety, associated to high yield and high sugar content garantees top performance for growers and consumers.

Carribean Queen is very well adapted to tropical conditions and stands well with heat.

Round fruits, average weight 1 Kg.

Smooth rind, colour turning from light green to yellowish at full maturity. Firm and juicy flesh, salmon orange. Very sweet and full of flavour. Early maturity (80 to 85 days from sowing).

As foliage and stems of Carribean Queen plants are less developped and shorter than other varieties among Cantaloupe type, growing density can be increased. That's why Carribean Queen enables to increase yields while keeping good growth and homogeneity.
