Jaune du Burkina

Yellow variety, full of flavour.

Fruits are pointed globular shape, 4-5 cm long and 3-4 cm diameter. Pendant fruits. Average weight: 7 g. Fruit colour changes from light green to yellow at full maturity.

Plant is 55 to 65 cm high. Open plant habit, light green foliage.

Cultivation cycle: 40 days in nursery from sowing to transplant - 120 days from transplant to harvest. Harvest: spread over 2 months. Average yield: 10 to 15 t/Ha, 1,5 kg of fruits per plant.

Use: fresh market, processing (paste), export markets.
