AGRIDERA Ltd. was founded in 1952 by eight
farmers' families from the town of Gedera in Israel as a vegetables
seeds producing company. It was originally called Zeraim Gedera.
Later on the company developed its own breeding programs – of vegetables
and open field crops and flowers. It expanded its focus of activity from
the local market to become an important competitor worldwide.
The vegetables line consists of tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, melons
etc., and the open field crops include wheat, cotton, clover and others.
An additional activity is flowers seeds breeding and production with the
ornamental sunflower range as the principal crop.
Today the hybrid vegetable seeds section is separated – Zeraim Gedera
was purchased and is today part of the Syngenta group.
AGRIDERA Ltd. is today a fully independent company with its own breeding
programs, production facilities and marketing & sales force.
Since its foundation, AGRIDERA Ltd. keeps tight relationships with

monitored during all production stages, from sowing till packaging, by
an expert control team.
All production fields are inspected by
the Ministry of
Agriculture plant protection staff to guarantee that the seeds
follow the required quality and plant health standards.
