Precision Seed Coaters increases production capacity

April 16, 2003

During the past several years Precision Seed Coaters (PSC) has placed a priority on its physical and financial resources to enable them to meet the increased demand for their products. Firstly PSC abandoned its "coating drum" system in favor of the highly automated, computer driven RP-DB-36 Roto-stat system.

This move not only increased production but also ensured that the quality of the product exceeded the high standard that PSC’s customers have come to expect.

However even with this new equipment the company realized that further improvement was possible, and needed, during "peak production periods". During March 03 several strategic upgrades were made to the RP-DB-36, which resulted in significant increases in the companies production capability. PSC has now increased its coated Bermuda production by over 65% and its Alfalfa production by nearly 50%. While we will continue to strive for even higher standards of production (as well as customer service and product quality) in the future, this new level will enable us to exceed our already significant production budget and accelerate our future growth projections.
