LG Seeds dealer wins trip to paradise
Elmwood, Illinois
November 6, 2003

Jim and Anita Keetle from Brunswick, NE are the Grand Prize winners of LG Seeds Early Bird Giveaway for 2003. As the Grand Prize winners, they have won an all expenses paid trip to the premiere vacation resort Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. The Keetles’ name was drawn from nearly 10,000 entries comprised of LG Seeds customers that placed orders before October 15, 2003.

In its first year, The Early Bird Giveaway has been a huge success for LG Seeds. “To offer our customers the best service, it is critical to understand their needs as early as possible,” says Kim Robertson, Marketing Manager, “this is a way that we can give back to our customers who do book their seed early.” Some of the benefits of booking seed early are to ensure that you get the hybrid, seed size and treatment options that you need. “With the release of high-performing hybrids such as LG2540 and all it’s trait versions in recent years, we like to make sure everyone ordered early will receive it”, Robertson says.

There were several other winners in the Early Bird Giveaway across the Midwest. Along with the Grand Prize trip to Atlantis, LG Seeds gave away a Dell Inspiron Laptop and 7 Kodak 6230 EasyShare Digital Cameras as well as 7 Magellan SporTrak Handheld GPS locaters.

LG Seeds, based in Elmwood, IL, is a producer and marketer of corn and soybean seed operating throughout the U.S. Cornbelt.
