STA Laboratories is pleased to announce the hiring of Dr. Russell Rasmussen as Manager of Molecular Breeding Services.  Dr. Rasmussen received his Ph.D. in Plant Breeding from the University of Minnesota  in 2001 and has over 8 years of molecular breeding experience.  Dr. Rasmussen joins the Genetic Services staff, directed by Dr. Dan LaFlamme, at STA Laboratories headquarters in Longmont, Colorado.

The hiring of Dr. Rasmussen completes STA laboratories’ plans to expand services to offer an all-inclusive testing program to agriculture; especially the seed industries.
