STA Laboratories, Inc., a leading diagnostic laboratory that has served the agriculture industry for over 15 years, is proud to announce the hiring of Dr. Kimberly M. Webb as Manager of Seed Health Services. 

Kim recently received her doctorate in Plant Pathology from Kansas State University and has previous seed health experience with the Colorado Certified Seed Program.  She has also worked closely with agricultural producers as a crop consultant, specifically in managing plant disease related problems.  

Kim will combine her skills in both molecular and applied plant pathology to improve testing techniques for seedborne contaminants.  She is looking forward to integrating with the STA Laboratories’ staff in our efforts to provide superior customer service and reliable testing services to our clients.

Kim joins a committed and energetic staff at our Longmont, Colorado facility.  She will also have administrative and operational responsibilities for the seed health staff at the Gilroy, California facility.  STA Laboratories provides services to clients through its Seed Quality, Plant Health and Genomics business units.
