Seedway acquires commercial vegetable seed business assets of Chesmore Seed

Seedway, LLC has acquired the commercial vegetable seed business assets of Chesmore Seed, St. Joseph, MO. Chesmore Seed has served the vegetable seed market in throughout the Mid-West for many years.

Seedway will offer its complete vegetable seed product line to Chesmore Seed dealers and customers throughout the Great Plains states, including the popular Bejo, Harris Moran, Syngenta and Seminis products. Seedway also offers a comprehensive line of products in the Rocky Mountain states.

Former Chesmore salespeople Gary Morrison and Mark Pflumm have joined the Seedway sales team and will continue to serve dealers and customers in the region. Seedway’s Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania location will maintain seed inventory and provide customer service.

Seedway markets one of the most complete vegetable seed product lines in the industry, with a seed and service team comprised of 20 in-the-field professionals covering the United States east of the Rocky Mountains and Ontario, Canada. The sales team includes 7 in the southeast U.S. and a state-of-the-art climate controlled warehouse in Lakeland, Florida.
