* Canola 2006/07 forecasts
will commence in April
* Soybeans 2005/06 - no
change from the February figures of 23,850 hectares for
production of 56,600 tonnes
* Sunflowers 2005/06 - no
change to the early crop numbers. The estimated late crop
in Queensland has not been planted due to dry conditions and
low prices and thus, total production for sunflowers for
2005/06 is now estimated at around 95,000 tonnes.
The April crop report will
come out in the week preceding Easter.
