Gro Alliance LLC
reached an agreement that establishes a strategic relationship
with Ansco Seed to
provide field production acreage and drying facilities to Gro
Alliance at its Whiting, Iowa location.
“The Ansco facility compliments our Whiting facility,” said Gro
Alliance CEO Lou Schweigert. “In searching for mutually
beneficial and strategic relationships with high quality
producers, this is an ideal fit.”
The agreement provides Gro Alliance and its clients’ access to
another modern drying facility and additional high quality
irrigated production acres. It will also allow Gro Alliance to
more efficiently grow small lots in the Whiting production area
and gives Gro Alliance a facility with both double-pass and
single-pass reversing drying systems; something few facilities
in the nation can offer.
For Ansco Seed, the growing and drying agreement with Gro
Alliance provides a stable level of business and will allow a
greater focus on field production.
“Our passion has been and will continue to be excellence in
field production. Being able to tap into Gro Alliance’s industry
strength in new business development, internal operations and
access to capital will allow us to do what we do best,” said
Kurt Neldeberg, owner of Ansco Seed
Similar to the Agreement signed with Lord’s Seed of Howe,
Indiana earlier this year, Ansco will remain an independent
company while operating under the Gro Alliance business umbrella
which includes facilities in Whiting and Belle Plaine, Iowa;
Cuba City, Wisconsin; Farmer City, Illinois; and Bluffton and
Howe, Indiana. |
