Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. is pleased to announce the newest addition to their sales team. Cody Lyon has been appointed as the new sales rep for Oklahoma, Western Arkansas and North Texas.

Most recently he was an account representative for North Texas corn and milo producers. Before that he ran his own small grains and fertilizer company, and also functioned as a partner in an environmental engineering firm in Dallas.

He began his new position on October 2, 2006.

Golden Acres Genetics, Ltd. Director of Sales, Jay Stidham says, “We’re excited to have Cody join the Golden Acres Team. Cody brings a high level of professionalism and integrity which will serve his customers well in the North Texas geography.”

While completing his undergraduate degree, Cody served in the United States Marine Corps for six years. Cody has two boys, Ty, 12 and Trey, 8. In his spare time, Cody is a certified Cessna pilot and is working on getting his certification in piloting helicopters. He is also an avid hunter and fisherman.
