Truels Damsgaard, aged 47, took
over as CEO on 1 August 2006 upon the retirement of CEO Aksel
Nissen. Since 1995, Truels Damsgaard has been part of the
DLF-TRIFOLIUM A/S Executive Board with Aksel Nissen.
On 4 August 2006, the Board of
Directors of DLF-TRIFOLIUM A/S appointed Morten Andersen, Chief
Financial Officer, aged 46, as member of the Executive Board of
DLF-TRIFOLIUM A/S and new member of the Group Executive Board
assuming responsibility for the finance, IT and the personnel
department.
Furthermore, the board of
directors has appointed Gert van Straalen, aged 53, as new
member of the Group Executive Board. Gert van Straalen is
managing director of the subsidiary company, Innoseeds Group,
having domicile in Holland. In the Group Executive Board he will
assume responsibility for the R&D activities of the Group next
to his responsibility for Innoseeds Group.
DLF-TRIFOLIUM A/S, having a DKK
2bn turnover, has a world leadership position in grass and
clover seeds with a global market share of nearly 20%, and a
market share in the EU of approx. 45%. The Group has
subsidiaries in a series of European countries and the US, as
well as sales offices in e.g. Russia, China and New Zealand. |
